Summary
The Analyst position augments the CRD’s M365 SharePoint Online Transition Project team. The position provides technical, training and change management support for the migration to M365 SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive, supports SharePoint 2019, and related information governance components.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Participates in project activities, including planning, analysis, clean-up, mapping, building, automation, migrating, coaching, training and support.
- Builds reports, creates documentation, performs analysis, and documents activities required for migration planning, delivery and quality assurance.
- Participates in discovery sessions with business areas and interest holders to gather and define requirements.
- Builds required information architecture, sites, pages, lists, metadata, navigation and views for migrations and applies permissions.
- Performs migrations of required business content using ShareGate or similar product.
- Performs migration closeouts, including documentation, metrics gathering and reporting.
- Provides operational Helpdesk service support and troubleshooting for M365 Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and SharePoint 2019, including permissions.
- Provides general M365 knowledge and expertise to support user experience across the environment.
- Conducts full end user and admin training on SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.
- Develops and supports Stewards and Stewardship program for information governance, including products usage.
- Facilitates implementation of governance decisions, configuration, processes and related policies that support compliant and effective information governance in M365, particularly, for SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive.
- Follows all policies, procedures and standards of the CRD.
- Performs other related duties as required.

- Substantial knowledge of document management and collaboration in M365 using Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint skills.
- Experience migrating content and structure using a software product.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to rigour, quality assurance, privacy, governance, and compliance.
- Strong ability to design, create and maintain documentation, presentations, forms, templates, reports, other communications and tools.
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders in a multi-disciplinary work environment.
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to work with interest holders, technical and non-technical staff and external partners to understand and document business requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and respond to requests in a timely manner.
- Experience with ShareGate and PowerShell would be an asset.
Qualifications
- Degree in a related discipline
- A minimum of 6 years' directly related experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience

- Relevant professional certification
